There is no question that the Turbo Power square titanium drivers will be the hottest golf product for 2009 and the incorporates this new technology at a less than half the price of the pro line square drivers. The square head's game improvement technology revolves around the ease of alignment with the two straight edges along with an increase in the club head's Moment of Inertia or resistance to twisting during off-center hits. Combined with an active titanium face and body, the Turbo Power Carbon i Drive copy is sure to be one of the best designs for the upcoming golf season. These also have the Square shape technology. Tests show a 80% improvement on off center hits because there is less twisting on mis-hits (heel-toe), less twisting equal's straighter and longer ball flights. Last but not least...it pays to be a "SQUARE from Delaware or Elseware"
The XP Turbo Power 460 Square Driver from Turbo Power is a radical departure from your traditional shaped driver head. It's square shape increases the driver head's MOI (moment of inertia) which, in turn, makes it much more resistant to twisting on off centre-hits. Add to that, a carbon graphite crown with more weight distributed to the perimeter of the clubhead and you have a very stable, solid feeling driver. The result is a noticeable improvement in distance and accuracy on off-centre hits.
It might take some time getting used to the look, but it won't take long getting used to finding your ball in the fairway more often!
